Commitment, accountability, dependability and versatility are all skills that Craig has built upon his entire life. These qualities have always helped to make him a leader in his chosen field - team sports in school, as an airman in the military, and then as a police officer before entering real estate -- and now they make him the best person to handle one of the biggest decisions of your life.
He knows that families are relying on him and he prides himself on his ability to come through for people.
As a boy growing up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Craig was always a team player. He excelled in team sports and was a leader on his high school basketball team. He had the skills of a natural athlete, and it seemed apparent that his future would be in sports.
Out of nowhere, an injury prematurely ended any chance he had for a college scholarship. While the news was devastating at the time, it proved to be a blessing in disguise for Craig. After high school, he enrolled in the Air Force and began a personal journey that would redefine his beliefs as well as his attitudes towards service.
As a military airman stationed overseas in England, Craig learned the true meaning of commitment. He worked on a team that was in charge of security for the U.S. Air Force base where he discovered a newfound sense of accountability. "It gave me a sense of professional pride. I was thrust into a position of responsibility where others regularly depended on me. Living up to their expectations showed me the satisfaction of a job well done, and the skills that I learned there still influence me today."
After an honorable tenure in the Air Force, Craig returned home to Lancaster with a strong sense of community and self-pride. After starting a family with his wife, Mate, he joined the Lancaster Police Force, which again, redefined his commitment to service. As an officer, he developed a great ability to adapt to the constantly changing circumstances he encountered. It's a versatility that still serves him well in both his personal and professional life.
As a native of Lancaster and a father of two, Craig understands how important family is. Spending time with his sons, Kyle and Brandon, is one of his greatest joys and it also helps him in his professional career. His great love and respect for his own family gives him special insight into his client's personal needs and interests.
